Arts from the nature

This is a cliff at the west end of the tunnels at Blakset,  route 613
It is a kind of risky area, due to stones falling down, and you may find stones big and small in the road from time to time.  The problem, however, is how to get down all loose fragments high up there without risks for the homes beneath the road.

Meanwhile, You can enjoy the view of these great sculptures from the nature. This photo is not manipulated.  It is shot from a location about 200 m further down the road from the tunnels.

Try to find out how many "human faces" or Trolls you may find,  May be new ones will pop up while you are looking!

Looking at these images, formed in solid rock by nature itself,  I can not be free to let my thoughts go.  What is it? Are they symbols of something.
What about that dominant "person" way down in the middle of the cliff,  could that be a guy called "MeisterJo"?  (MasterJo). Real name: Jon Mogensen Schancke.  A highly skilled person living from 1570 - 1618. Parish priest in Innvik parish , beheaded due to repudiatory breach in the service,  dissolute way of living, and a lot more.  Wicked tongues means that most of the accuses w
ere made up by his wife, Magdalena, and other opponents.

As told, Jon was a highly skilled man.  It is told that he had 5 years studies at a rectory school in Wittenberg, Germany.  Thereafter he had another 5 years at another school..  The so-called  "descent school " .  The school master was Old Nick himself.  What they learned here was witch craft.  Magical formulas, among many other things.  Jon was - in the people's  minds -  trusted to understand the different animal's speeches

The legend tells, that right before Jo put down his head on the block, he spoke to the people telling them: "If I am innocent, my blood will flow uphill"   Off cause it did !!   This led the people to believe that ; Yeah,  Jon surely was innocent!  And the legend started growing.
The place of execution they called Mordskogen (the Murder Forrest).  And it is told that it has kept the name until our time.

The story also tells that for the people that was against him and wanted him dead, it went badly.  Magdalena -  the widow - got a decease that made her start curving  and shrinking.  In her last years..  they could keep her in a little box ( basket ) that they could carry or keep upon a table.
In the church of Innvik right across the fjord, I have heard. You can see a painting of Jo and Magdalena.
Magdalena is told to be painted with blood upon her hands.

And now,  here he stands, in his gown and .clergyman's ruff.   Monitoring all and everything passing on the road and the fjord beneath  Looking over the fjord to Innvik.  To the church, the rectory and the place of execution,  which is told to be in the rectory's forest.

Oh, by the way,  If you take a closer look at the gown,  you may find it look  like a person, standing with an axe or something similar in his hand. If the head should be a symbol of "Master Jo", could this figure beneath be the executioner??  And high up to the left, right beneath some moss, you will find a "group of 4-5 shapes", sitting on a bench or a shelf.  Could these be a symbol of the jury?

To the right, you will se an overview photo of the cliff.  Before the compression when I put it out on the web, some more shapes were visible.  I have cut out some of them, and put them beneath here.
